Games Global WowPot!™ Breaks Jackpot Pay Out Record with $41.9 Million Win on Wheel of Wishes
Software provider Games Global has announced a world-record-breaking payout from its WowPot!™ progressive jackpot, with a total win of €38,461,200.95 (approximately $41.9 million). The substantial prize was won on December 20, 2023, through Wheel of Wishes, developed by Alchemy Gaming, a Games Global studio. The prize exceeded the former record of €19.4 million (approximately $21.2 million) on Mega Moolah™, also developed by Games Global.
WowPot!™, featuring a starting seed amount of €2 million (approximately $2.2 million), has been a source of significant payouts since its launch. Games Global’s progressive jackpot network includes other high-profile titles such as Ancient Fortunes: Poseidon WowPot! Megaways™ and Queen of Alexandria WowPot!™.
The developer received a Guinness World Record in 2016 for the “largest jackpot payout in an online slot machine game” after Mega Moolah™ paid out £13.2 million (then $20 million).
Andy Booth, Chief Product Officer at Games Global, celebrated the record-breaking jackpot, saying, “This is a monumental moment for both Games Global and the entire iGaming industry. We could not be prouder to be home to the largest online slot jackpot win. We would also like to extend our congratulations to the winner. Now that it has been won, our job is to reset it and go again, hopefully making another record-breaking jackpot in the process!”
Games Global’s studios, such as Triple Edge, Alchemy Gaming, and Gameburger, supply games to US online casinos like PartyCasino, which is live in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Rory Harpur, Head of Studio at Alchemy Gaming, who developed the Wheel of Wishes WowPot!™ title, said, “When we debuted Wheel of Wishes back in 2020, little did we know the incredible impact its central progressive jackpot would have.
“Not only is this latest WowPot!™ win the first top-tier jackpot to strike on the game, [but] it’s also the largest online slot jackpot win. A truly historic day for the Alchemy team, for our partners at Games Global, and in the wider industry.”
