Blackjack tops the list of Michigan’s favorite casino games
It’s official – Michigan online casino players love blackjack! The November Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG) monthly report highlighted blackjack as the most preferred game among Michigan players. Two versions of the game, IGT’s Blackjack and Evolution Gaming’s live dealer VIP Blackjack, led the pack.
The EKG report lists the top 25 table games in the Great Lakes State, with blackjack variants securing prominent positions. Most top Michigan online casinos support games in the top five, including IGT’s Blackjack, Evolution’s VIP Blackjack and Craps, and IGT’s Multihand Blackjack Poker & Pairs.
Blackjack, a classic table game, continues to be a player’s primary choice, as indicated by its consistent presence in the top spots of the EKG report. The popularity of craps is also noted, marking a diversified interest in virtual table games. The mix of games in this category includes those with a live dealer and those based on a Random Number Generator (RNG) system.
Its findings are based on an extensive data analysis from 33 operators across five US states, including Michigan. Most Michigan online casinos offer a variety of blackjack titles in both RNG and live dealer formats. Operators like DraftKings, BetMGM, and Caesars Palace Online Casino feature extensive blackjack game portfolios, further underscoring the game’s popularity in the region.
Evolution Gaming stands out in the EKG top 25 list, with 11 titles featured. IGT follows with seven games listed, and both Internal and Light & Wonder tie for the third spot, each contributing three games. The list also includes a single game from Gaming Realms.
The report identifies IGT’s Blackjack, which allows players to enjoy the classic game without any additional features, as the number one game. This game is accessible on several online platforms, including FanDuel, BetRivers, Caesars Palace Online Casino, and Golden Nugget.
The presence of VIP Blackjack in the top five, being the only live dealer game, indicates a balanced preference for both RNG and live versions of blackjack. The EKG report also suggests that player preferences have remained steady, with popular games from IGT and Evolution appearing on the EKG’s list for several months.
