Boyd Interactive Partners with Playtech for Exclusive Distribution Rights
Boyd Interactive, the digital arm of Boyd Gaming, has announced a partnership with Playtech to enhance its Stardust-branded real money online casino in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This collaboration will introduce a range of Playtech’s renowned online casino games and Live Casino experiences to Stardust Casino.
Jim Ryan, Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Interactive, said in a press release, “We are excited to incorporate Playtech’s exceptional online casino and Live Casino games into our Stardust offerings in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We look forward to offering Stardust players renowned Playtech titles such as Age of the Gods, captivating, branded games like Gold Rush: Cash Collect, and entertaining live shows like Adventures Beyond Wonderland.’”
The deal promises to bring a wide array of Playtech’s online casino games to Boyd Interactive customers. Notably, the collaboration includes live casino games, which are increasingly popular among online players.
Boyd Gaming, the operator of 29 land-based casinos, has diversified its interests to include online gambling in recent years. Its acquisition of Pala Interactive in 2022 for $170.0 million marked a significant expansion into the online casino market. The rebranding of Pala Interactive to Boyd Interactive and the launch of Stardust online casino in spring 2023 highlighted the company’s dedication to diversification.
