IGT gets Gold Medal from sustainability agency EcoVadis
Software developer International Game Technology PLC (IGT) has been recognized for its sustainability practices with a gold medal rating from EcoVadis. This prestigious award places IGT in the top 5% of companies worldwide assessed by EcoVadis, highlighting its commitment to sustainable business operations.
IGT’s sustainability efforts were evaluated across 21 benchmarks in categories including environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The company excelled particularly in areas of environment, ethics, and sustainable procurement, demonstrating its dedication to not just economic success but also to ethical business practices and environmental stewardship.
EcoVadis uses international standards such as the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organization conventions, and the ISO 26000 standard to provide a detailed analysis of a company’s social and environmental impact.
