Play’n GO launches Piggy Blitz exclusively on BetMGM in the US
Online casino game provider Play’n GO has announced the launch of its Piggy Blitz slot game in the United States.
Piggy Blitz will launch exclusively on BetMGM Casino, which follows a year-long partnership between BetMGM and Play’n GO. Up until January 18, 2024, the game will be exclusively available to BetMGM players in New Jersey and Michigan. Following this exclusive launch period, other casino operators within legal states will also be able to offer the game.
Commenting on the partnership, Play’n GO’s Commercial Director in North America, Magnus Natt och Dag, said, “Our partnership with BetMGM has been highly successful for both parties to this point, so we’re pleased to use this exclusive game launch to demonstrate our commitment to further joint success”.
Natt och Dag also spoke about Piggy Blitz’s success elsewhere and how this serves as a promising indicator for its success in the US market. BetMGM players currently have access to several new Play’n GO slots that came out in 2023, including Fox Mayhem, Scroll of Seth, and Honey Rush 100.
“Piggy Blitz has proven extremely popular with players in our other jurisdictions, so we’re confident that we can replicate that success here in the US. BetMGM’s players have made it abundantly clear that they enjoy our content, and Piggy Blitz is sure to replicate that success in 2024,” he added.
Play’n GO’s decision to launch Piggy Blitz in the US demonstrates its expanding presence in the growing US iGaming landscape. As of December 2023, Play’n GO holds licenses in four US states, including Michigan, New Jersey, West Virginia, and Connecticut.
This announcement follows the global launch of Piggy Blitz on September 21, 2023, an animated piggy bank-themed slot with a 6×4 reel structure and 4,096 paylines to bet on. The game has an above-average Return to Player (RTP) percentage of 96.25%.
