Evolution Cleared of Misconduct by NJ Regulator
Evolution AB, a leading provider of live dealer and slot games, has been cleared of any misconduct by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE). The investigation, initiated in November 2021, concluded with no evidence of Evolution engaging in prohibited practices.
The New Jersey casino regulator found no indication that Evolution allowed its content to be offered in jurisdictions deemed off-limits by the regulatory body. In response to the investigation, Evolution conducted its own internal review, reaffirming the adequacy of its compliance and due diligence processes.
The allegations suggested that Evolution’s products were accessible in countries under US trade sanctions, including Iraq and Syria. Evolution refuted these claims, emphasizing its commitment to regulatory compliance and the implementation of tools to block play from sanctioned countries. The company highlighted the technical manipulation required to access its content from these countries, attributing it to sophisticated efforts to bypass geographical restrictions.
